Hide single category on blog page

Hi,

I 've tried to hide one single category on the blog page, but it doesn't work

I need the category filter but with out the category "newsletter" as it set in Theme options.

What is wrong?

Hey,

did you enter the name of the category in lower case letters? It is important, because it is the slug name.

Yes, I did copy past from the category slug

Then this must mean, that you are not using the default blog page but an item.

Please remove the item, then go to settings>reading and set the default blog page.

You must have a default blog page set, otherwise it will not work.
