How to remove black pull down bar at top above the header menu

I am using BEtheme/writer

1. How to remove black pull down bar at top (pull down is at right corner

Must have tagged something to have it show in the theme but have scowered every setting & have not idea how it was enabled (or more importantly how to disable)

(Not knowing what is for obviously prohibits adding information to it (like an email address etc...)

Hi,

It's the "Sliding Top" feature.

It can be found in the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Extras

Change the "Sliding Top" tab to "Hide"

Thanks. Issue fixed. I see it is principally configured from Appearance->Widgets.

Sliding top is an odd bit of naming. don't see anything slide but I see you could actually have 3 of them.
