Hide custom post type for Author role

Hi,

How can i hide some custom Muffin post type for some user with Author or Editor Role.
I want to hide these post type from the main menu : Clients, Offer, Portfolio, slides, layouts, testimonials...

Hi,

This is not possible.

It can be hidden only for everyone.

To do that, you would have to modify/extend the theme files for that functionality, and we do not support this kind of modifications.

Thank you for your message. So there is not a php file for each item (clients, offer, slides etc...)?

I wanted to add a code in my function.php file of my child theme like this : 

/* Remove Tools admin menu item for everyone other than Administrator */

add_action( 'admin_init', 'remove_menu_pages_for_all_except_admin' );

function remove_menu_pages_for_all_except_admin() {

global $user_ID;

if ( !current_user_can('administrator') ) {

remove_menu_page('tools.php', 'tools.php');

}

}

Of course it can be done with the theme customization, but we do not support the file customization.

So that mean, we are not able to help you with that.

But, if you want to replace/change/modify theme files, please use the Child Theme.
