Deactivate Retina Images?

Hi, I recorgnized in developer tools, that My Server responds with a lot of 404 NOT Found because of the missing retina images. I don't want to use retina functionality. Is there an easy way to deactivate retina function?

Where did you noticed those 404 errors because of missing images? Because console is clear and we did not noticed anything wrong.

I have the same issue the retina images are not present in the folder with other images and then a lot of 404 errors form google webmaster tools point of view and also from SEO wordpress plugin, and example here:

@cerro79 To deactivate retina completely, you must remove below code from js/jquery.plugins.js file:
