Bug in Clients Slider Category Dropdown

I no longer have options in the dropdown menu to select the client post category. The only choice I see is All, despite having 2 categories set up. This was working at one time, as I was able to create a Clients Slider element showing only clients in the "vendor" category.

same issue is valid for offers CPT too.

This problem is coming from our theme.
