Changes in area of Muffin Builder cannot be saved

Pages cannot be saved
If I change a page (in the section "Muffin builder") then it cannot be saved. Saving does not end.
I tried
- tried PHP 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, but also without success
- on provider side no write protection is activated
- "classic editor", but without success (Fatal error: Uncaught Error: [] operator not supported for strings in

Hi,

Didn't you change something in the theme files?

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache and check if the issue still exists.

Also, check if all of the options in System Status are shining green.

I didn't change anything in the theme files, except to set the "PHP Max Input Vars" up in php.ini.
I deactivated the plugins, deleted the cache. But it still doesn't work.

Your theme is way to old to use the PHP 7 or higher.

Please update your theme to the newest version.

Here is an instruction on how to update the theme:

Theme updates will not delete your content unless you have changed the
files directly in which case we suggest using a child theme.
We also recommend creating a backup file.
Please remove the theme completely from your theme folder and install a
fresh copy. Do not overwrite files.
