Adding custom page template

Hello,

we want to add a custom single-post template that doesn't display the featured image - how do we add this and make it available in the template dropdown where templates like the "blank page" are to be found?

Hi,

You can use the "Quote" or "Link" post format, so it will not display the feature image on top.

But, it will not display the image in the main blog page too.

The other way is to disable the feature image on all of the single post pages.

These are the only ways.
