Logo bigger

Hi there,

I'd like for the logo on my site to appear bigger. I'd like it to be bigger in the regular header and sticky header. How can I achieve this?

Hi,

You can make your logo bigger in the Theme Options > Global > Logo

Increase the "Height" value

Remember, if you logo(image) height is 150px, then value provided there will not cross that value to be bigger.

I have tried to make it bigger, but when I do, the logo just disappears altogether.

I tried making a logo that is 300 px high, but that seemed like perhaps it was too big because the logo disappeared when I tried to place that one int.

Then I tried just making it 150px tall, as opposed to the 112px tall one that I was using before. But it still disappeared.

When I set the height in the place that you told me about, it seems to change the height of the navigation bar area, but not of the logo itself??

I can't figure out how this works! Thanks!

Can you send a link to your website? This one looks like it's not working (404 error)

Also, please increate the logo size as I told you in previous reply, to make it "disappear'.

I'll inspect that and then I'll tell you what can be the problem.

Did you remove the logo? The image is not set.

Also, please disable all of the plugins, clear the browser cache and check if the issue still exists.

I think I deleted the retina logo. But I put it back in, so you could see what happens when I do.

I tried deactivating all plugins and clearing the cache, but no change.

Ok, it is disabled.

Please put back the normal and retina logo in theme options>global>general.

We cannot check what is wrong when there is no logo present.

The logos are in there! That is what I'm trying to say! The logo disappeared when I put my own files in!!

If I were to put the original logo files back in, it would work fine. It is my logo files that aren't working.

Can you try downloading those logos onto your PC and then uploading them again?

If this does not help we will take a look.

why would I do this?? they came from my computer in the first place... I'd just be doing the same thing twice...

I've uploaded the logo again and it works fine - I've increased the height and it display the maximal image height of the logo.

Remember, if your logo height is 267px, then even if you change the logo height in theme options to 300px or higher then it will be not bigger than original logo height (in your case 267px).

Also, if you use temporary domain, then every change of that domain you have to replace all of the links for images, thats why suggest not to do it.

Of course.

You have to provide old domain name in "Find" field and new domain name in "Replace" field.

All of the images and some customized paths in buttons always held the same, provided value.

If you start using some other domain (or the temporary domain name changes after some time), then you have to use this plugin to "refresh" links(like providing them new path)
