Blog teaser issue

I'm using the blog teaser on my homepage but the main large image on the left isn't the same height as the two on the right.

I'd like to make them equal height so that are uniform. 

It it a case that I set the height of the main left image and set it to zoom in so it fills the space?

    I think i've sorted out the issue. 

    I've changed all the posts so that all so the featured image are the same width and height.
