Disable Hover activation for submenus

Currently, the submenus drop down when you hover over the top level menu item. I need to disable that and make a submenu only drop down when you actually click on its top level menu item.

How can I do this?

Hi Rob,

it's not possible to modify submenu from hover to click. This is technically not possible with tons of current options and features already included in header.

It is absolutely necessary for this site to create this modification. What features of your theme would not work if the submenu was changed from hover to click activation?

When we say it is not possible, we really mean it's not possible. You can contact with your website developer and ask if he is able to do this because with current version it won't work. Also we do not offer any modifications in theme files and that's why you must talk with your developer.

Yes I know we can have it coded differently. I was just hoping to avoid that. The client just made that request. If they had made that request initially, we would have gone with a different theme.

Perhaps I'll just use Uber Menu and see if that will work. Is BeTheme compatibel with UberMenu?

OK. I got a suggestion from a developer friend that I can change the menu from hover to click by editing the mfn.menu.js file

If it doesn't work, I guess I can always use UberMenu instead of the theme's menu, right?
