cURL error

Hi Team,

I've tried to install the theme multiple times on different hosting providers and we're still getting a cURL error.

The API test connection ticks off and is successful - but we still couldn't install it.

Can you help?

Hello,

can you please tell us what the error message says exactly? What is the number?

Also, try to disable all of your plugins. If this does not help then it can be only be fixed by the hosting company because it is a hosting related error.

The hosting company has checked it all and said they do not have any blocks. The wordpress is a fresh install - I can send you details to login to check?

We could check but there is no point in doing that.

If you disable all of your plugins and this happends then it is a 100% hosting issue.

We get those CURL errors very often and it is always like that, the hosting company bounces the ball back because cheap hosting providers do not exactly know how to change it.

The only sollution here would be to change the hosting provider.

Why can't they check the logs and send you the error report? They must see what is happening.

If you widh to stay with your hosting provider then we could send you the plugin files so you can install them manually but this issue will persist iin the future.

That's very rich for you in saying that it's not your theme that is the issue. Like I've mentioned, there are NO plugins enabled and I've tried on 2 reputable hosting providers her in Australia. I've seen you guys have had issues with this in the past..

Surely there is a way for you to log in and have a look? My hosting provider can't find anything that has been blocked - everything is working normally..

Basically bought this theme for 2 weeks, without real support.. it's a big shame..

I've tried two separate hosting accounts, and also 5 fresh installs with the same result... If you guys can't help me, I guess I'll just need to get a refund since it doesn't work as it's supposed to.

Like I said before, the CURL errors are not related to the theme. Those are hosting errors. What we can do, if your hosting provider cannot see in the logs what is wrong (which he should since there is an issue present) is to send you those plugins.

The plugin/theme updates/installs are blocked by your hosting.

Every topic on CURL error on the web you can find, especially curl error 28, is related to hosting and only to hosting.

We cannot help you with this, not because we do not know how but because we simply cannot, it all is due to hosting restrictions.
