iPad / iPhone scrolls #anchor tag under top menu bar

Hello again:

Using Be|theme Profile for a site, and all looks good on typical desktop, tablet, and phone views in Appearance>Customize.

However, viewing the site live on an iPad or iPhone, the #tags for the main page scroll the #section to a point where that section is partly obscured by the menu.

I have added additional pages to the original single page (none have anchor tags) and all scroll well, including on iOS.

Any thoughts how to adjust for #section scroll issues on iOS?

Many thanks..

  • Hello Mark,
please send us a link to this website so we can take a look. Does this happen only on mobile devices?
    thanks

Thank you for your reply. When you noted you would "take a look" it occurred to me that I should take a look at the Profile demo on an iPad/iPhone. And it looked fine. So, it must have been something I did.

Looking at the code (inspect element) I compared the demo section padding to my edited sections, and that was the issue. After adjusting the section padding for my purposes, the page appears fine in browsers, tablets, phone, landscape and portrait.

Sorry to trouble you; again, thanks!
