Fonts appearing different in Chrome

I am using Open Sans set to 700 Bold for my "Big Headings Font" in theme options.

But in Chrome, in the sidebar (not sure about everywhere else) the font is thinner in Chrome than FF and IE.

Please note that you will the Title in the 2nd sidebar widget "Cause Mapping Webinars" is thicker, but that is because that font is actually in a Revolution Slider, so the size is being set in there, not from the Theme Options.

Please let me know what to do to get Open Sans 700 Bold to look the same in all 3 browsers - Chrome, FF and IE.

We have checked your website already and everything is ok. This is how Chrome render this font. Google Chrome is rendering fonts a little bit different then other browsers.

So there's nothing that can be done about that, other than not use Google fonts?

You can try to use custom fonts but not sure if this will change anything. If you don't like how Chrome render fonts, please contact with chrome support team.

OK thanks. I did some research online and saw other reference to issues with how Chrome renders some types of fonts.

I'm just decided to apply CSS specific to the sidebar to decrease font weight and the blurriness went away.
