Space for centered logo too wide

We have a new project with the client having a kind of square logo. This makes it perfect for the centered menu position, but the theme is pulling the menus so far apart. How can we get the distance between the left/right menu somewhat nicer and closer to the centered logo. Think about all the companies with a round or portrait logo - they have the same issue. We see you set the logo width to a certain large %, how can we set that it looks nice without heavy CSS interference?

  • Hi,
To make it not that wide, you have to decrease the "Grid width" value (Theme Options > Global > General) - http://prntscr.com/nraaq3

Also, be sure that your header does not have turned on the "Full Width" option.
Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Header

    Thanks

Interesting though process, but these settings are changing something which is working nicely, i.e. the grid width or full width. Especially with full width there is the necessity even higher that the menu items are spreading out nicely.
Client only wants the menu better spread out, it seems the logo placeholder has a fixed width value, again think round logo or square, see here, simply not nice so much white space around the logo and we would want to have even wider grid:

  • Yes, it will change whole website if you change the "Grid Width" or turn on "Full Width" option.
But, there is no other option.

You would have to edit theme files to achieve it, but as you probably know, we do not provide help in that kind of cases.

    Thanks
