Hi,

I'm trying to make a left sidebar on a portfolio page so I can have search menu. I tried by making a custom sidebar and by adding widgets to the actual portfolio page. I can't figure it out.

the documentation doesn't specify the exact steps. I checked the forum and tried following it but no sidebar shows up.

I want the page to have a sidebar with categories, and search etc.
