IE - font diacritic

Hi,

please the IE is not showing diacritis (latin extended) in our page: www.realpress.sk 

Other browsers works fine..

Any solutions?

Hi,

Did you upload this font in Theme Options > Fonts > Custom or via the @font face rule?

Also, please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.

Hi,

I set the font in Theme Options - Fonts - Family. It is a Google font called "Poppins" and "Encode Sans Condensed". Both should have the latin extended version.. maybe they are not supported by IE?

Yes, you were right.

You have to upload the font with 'EOT' extension via the @font-face rule to make it work on IE.

You can post that CSS in the Theme Options > Custom CSS & JS > CSS

I tried to download the font from Google Fonts, but there are only TTF types of font, not "EOT"

Is there a way some how to load it from google fonts?

Without the "EOT" extension it will be hard to display it on IE.

You could try to use some kind of online converter (TTF to EOT), but I never used that.

Sorry but we do not have such a code present in the support forum.

You should use .woff font type for the custom fonts in BeTheme.

You can use converters to make a woff font type:

There are many more on the web.
