Cannot update Slider plugins after installing a fresh copy of Betheme

After installing a fresh copy of Betheme I want to install/update Revolution Slider and get the message: 

 constant WPLANG - assumed 'WPLANG' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\LayerSlider\classes\class.km.autoupdate.v3.php on line 73

Nothing happens after that. Can I install the plugins manually?

Hey,

we see that you are using a localhost installation.

Make sure you disable all plugins while installing the slider and check if your PHP version is set to 7.0 or higher.
