Be Theme

edited June 2019 in Theme support
Hi:

I have many licences for BeTheme that I use for my clients, love it! https://themeforest.net/item/betheme-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7758048
Today I realized that one of my client (who is hosted by GoDaddy) is missing the BeTheme Options (You might call it a Dashboard). It normally sits inside the Appearances tab. I am 100% certain that this license is correct for this website.

Also, I notice the Muffin Builder plugin does not show up on the plugin list. BUT, I built it using the builder and can still use it. Why is it not showing up?

So the entire BeTheme Dashboard access is gone and the Muffin Builder plugin is not in the list. (The site is working, so why is all this hidden?)

I can find no way to add it back. I did notice that this hosted website can be upgraded to a newer version of PHP. Right now their website is on PHP 5.6. This is a client that doesn't like to pay me for updates so I don't normally do updates unless they authorize them or are willing to pay.

The theme is updated, so that can't be it.

Could this PHP version have something to with the missing options? I do not want to update it if its not going to make a difference.
How do I get that options back?

  • Hello,
The Muffin Builder is not a plugin, it is integrated into the theme and you have it present by default.
You can only disable it in theme options>globa>advanced.

If your client does not have the theme options dashboard then usually it is a plugin that is causing this.
Please disable all plugins and check if it appears. The PHP version should be 7.0 or greater for Wordpress and themes to work properly.
    thanks
  • Thank you, that is exactly what is was... a plugin the client added. And, thank you for letting me know about the correct PHP version.
