Header and Footer are not displayed in 404 error page

Hi, 

I am trying to display the header with main menu and the footer on my custom 404 error page but I cannot find how. 

Here is the steps I took:

Go to BeTheme > Theme Options > Error 404 > Select my custom 404 page from "Custom Page" dropdown. 

If I don't select my custom page as 404 page, the header and footer are displayed. 

But if I select it as 404 page, they disappear. 

Could someone give me an advice please?

sorry but header and footer are disabled by default and there is no option to enable them in the theme.

No, you would have to code your own template for the 404 page.

404 pages have usually no menu, just the error message so we do not use it this way.
