Polylang WP plugin: How to hide flag dropdown in menu?

1) I have installed Polylang WP plugin on my website and added the
language switcher in the menu (Displays language names). Now it is
showing both language names AND the flag dropdown. I would like to
remove/hide the flag dropdown and only show language names – how can I
do this?

2) Also, I have added some icons in my menu by using “<i
class=”icon-home”></i> Home” in the “Navigation label” field.
Is there any way I can add an icon next to the language names? There are
no field called the “Navigation label” under the language switcher.

Hope somebody can help.
