Cannot edit items, please help!

After doing a BE Theme update to version 21.2.7 I can no longer edit the items on my pages. When I click the pencil button (for edit), nothing happens - no pop up window opens. Please help, this is urgent.

Hi,

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.

Also, if you have "Child Theme" enabled, please switch it to the parent.

Unfortunately this does not help. Even after that the edit (pencil) button does not work on the "column" type. It does work on the "image" type, the divider type, etc. But the column type fields where most of our content is can no longer be edited...
