Disabled sticky menu still appears, looks buggy

Hi,

We're using a header with "Header layered on top of content" turned on for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile. All sticky headers is also turned off.

The header looks like it is supposed to until you start to scroll down. A black box appears at the top of the screen and pushes down the first content element and the class "is-sticky" gets applied to the header element.

  • Hi,
Is your WP and BeTheme up to date?
Also, please disable all of the plugins(leave the Header Builder turned on only), clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.
    Thanks
  • Hi,

Yes, we are running the latest version of WP and the theme and we do not have any additional plugins installed.
  • Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] and we will check what might be the reason.

  • Thanks Pablo, the message was sent via ThemeForest.
  • Hello,
The problem is related to your customization of the theme.
We turned on the parent theme of betheme and it works fine.

Sorry, but we help with the theme problems only, not with the third-party customizations.
    Thanks
  • Yeah, so it seems after updating betheme the problem was resolved which does not have anything to do with our child theme.

It will be great if you investigate issues and be honest with your responses in the future.
  • As I said, this problem is not related with our theme.
I didn't update the parent theme of yours, I just switched the themes.

Also, the Child Theme only switch the files which were changed, all other files are taken from parent, so it has to be problem related to your customizations.

    Greetings
