Use of templates - global structure

Hi, I would like to add specific structure to my post pages: I mean a header before the content and a footer to remind shopping options. But I am having some questions with templates.

1. Do I have to create 2 templates (one for the header and another to the footer) or just one would be enough?

2. How can I automatically added to all my posts?

3. Is there a way to make it global? I mean that when I make a change in the template, that change would be replicated in all posts?

If you can answer these questions would be great.

Thank you so much ;)

  • Hi,
    1) Header(Action Bar, Top Bar, Slider, Subheader) and footer are already in the theme, so you would have to use the "Blank Page" template first to remove them.
I do not understand the question.

    2) It's not possible to automatically add it, you have to add them by inserting your pre-built template.

    3) Answer is the same as the answer from second point.

    Thanks
  • Hi, thank you for your answer.

    1. Yes, I know but I would like to add this elements only in blog posts, not the whole site. The structure I am looking for is:
    - Web Header (Menu)
    - My structure (similar like a banner) after the menu
    - Post content
    - My structure after the content
    - Web Footer

I have created a template with these 2 structures (as you show in your screenshot) but how can I use this template to be in all blog posts?

How can I select this template to my entries?

    Thank you
  • That's not possible to attach on all of them at once.
You have to select this template while creating the post.

    Thanks
  • OK, thank you for your reply and attention :)
