blog news not showing read more link

Hi guys, I used the muffin builder "blog news" element on the front page to show 5 blog posts.

The posts are there so that is great but to see the the whole post I need to click on the title or on the image.

I dont see a read more button under the excerpt. How can I add this or make the whole excerpt clickable?

Hello Jacob,

You can set the "Excerpt" field and "Button" which will redirect to main blog page in that item settings.

Hi Pablo, thanks for you suggestion, but this doesn't seem to work.

Then I fill out the settings (see screenshot) it doesn't aprear under the blog excerpts but underneath all 5 articles (see screenshot)

Any other suggestions

Yes, but take a look at the splash page and this shortcode:

https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/shortcodes/loops/#blognews

It has the one "read more" button too - that's because it redirects you to the main blog page, it won't be on all of the blog items.

To achieve that, you would have to use the "Blog" item instead, not "Blog news"
