Want to hyperlink portfolio masonry items to external url's

I am using the visual composer widget called 'portfolio' to display all my images on one page in a grid layout, but I don't want users to click to the portfolio page..rather I want to have an option to add the hyperlink to each portfolio item to third party websites. We are displaying various logos and want the logos to go to the company's website when clicked. Any way to achieve this while still maintaining the portfolio category sort option?

sorry but you can only either go to the portfolio item or display the featured image.

Unfortunately not, you would have to edit theme files to achieve that.

But, we do not provide support in this kind of modifications, we do help only with the minor css tweaks.
