Menu Items With Icons

We would like to add icons to the menu items in the main menu.

For eg, home menu item with a home icon or something similar. 

Did a search on the discussion here, however, couldnt find a topic related to our query.

Another query, how to open menu links in a new window?

Hello,

Glad that you solved your previous problem.

So, if you want to open the menu in a new window you should use the target="_blank" attribute.

In menu items the difference is, that you don't have to provide any code, you have to turn on the "Link Target" in "Screen Options" on the top of the screen

Gave it a look, however, not sure how to add em to the menu :-p

added the href tag into the custom link URL of the menu, but it didnt work

after saving, the link box is empty.

What we want to do is, add 1 or 2 external links to the main menu, 

for eg, Booking, which will open in another window.
