Is it enough just to Update with the Installable WordPress file?

With each update I've just been replacing the older version BeTheme folder in my WPContent/Themes folder with the latest "Installable WordPress file" BeTheme folder.

I notice if I choose the "All files & documentation" option to Update there is the extra BeTheme Child folder - do I need to be installing this too & where?

if you don't know what is child theme and you don't need it then do not upload.
