Replace Search functionality with a Button

I have a question regarding the menu. Is it possible to replace the search functionality with a button that links to a specific URL? See mock-up below for a visual explanation.

there is a button there already. It is called the "action button". You will find the options for it in theme options>header&subheader>extras
