WP Bakery Visual Editor HTML only

After purchasing the theme In the WP bakery editor I seem to only be able to edit text content in HTML. The Wysiwyg editor doesn't appear I cannot change from html to editor. Everything is current. No license has been purchased for VC editor.

Hello,

Please disable all of the plugins(leave the WPBakery turned on only), clear the cache and check if the issue still exists.

Also, if it will not help you, please do few things:

1) Post a link to your website in next reply

2) Take a few screenshots of problem, upload them on https://prnt.sc and post it in your reply.

3) Be sure, that your theme, wp and plugins are up to date.

The "Column" item is not WYSIWIG, so it will not gonna work.

In this case, you should use the "Visual Editor" item instead, it has the WYSIWYG editor.

Wow. I can't believe my stupidity on that.

One last question. Is there a way to change the background colour of the header. I've tried a few options with no luck.

So, that option is available to set in the Theme Options > Colors > Header

Both are set to black, yet the background is white. The logo itself is a transparent .png

Yes, because you selected the skin color in the Theme Options > Colors > General

If you want to customize colors of elements, it has to be set to "Custom Skin"
