How to achieve best quality for sliders

Hey Guys

Hope your all good. I wonder if you could suggest a solution for us to produce the best quality on the sliders of this website which is one of your great themes.

In this we are using a large slider that ends at the fold of the home screen. When we use a large screen to view the site the images seem to pixelate slightly. We have just noticed this and wondered what you would recommend as file size and settings to use in the slider area.

What would be the best size of image to use here? Any advice to achieve the best quality here would be greatly appreciated.

We have great quality images to start with and reduce them using photoshop then save for the web using high settings. Should we use the maximum save for the webs settings when saving an image using photoshop - save for the web?

Hello Gary,

Do not forget about the loading time of your website - using very large with best quality images will be slowing down your website severely.

We suggest, to use images which will not cross the FHD quality (1920x1080) with good compression (JPG).

And yes, you should save it with using the "Save for the web" option.

Also, compress them with https://tinypng.com - it will compress it without quality loss -
