Custom Search page?

Is there a way easily set or create a page for the search results page.  I see that this is possible for 404 page but I don't see a way to customize the search page.  I'd like to know if this can be done without coding or creating a file in the folders.

Sorry, but we do not have options in the theme for customizing the search page.

You would have to edit the wordpress files, because we didn't touch the search page layout - it's the default wordpress.
