Rollover links

Hi Betheme,

Something has gone wrong with some of my menu links on my site http://soundcrush.co/. Two of the links are custom URL links (Why SoundCrush? and Pricing). These seem to have the wrong colour and also do not change colour on rollover.

There is one further link which is a standard page link (Contact) And this link works fine.

Can you please advise?

Thanks

Tom

  • Hello Tom,
Please disable all of the plkugins, clear the cache of your browser and check, if the issue still exists.

    Thanks
  • HI Pablo, I have tried that but I have the same problem.

The normal page link works fine but the custom URL which are anchor links don't. hope you can help!

I made a video with the plugins off

  • It seems to be the fact they are anchor links as a normal custom url works fine. Is there any way to fix that you think as I need them to be like that.
  • Hey,
are you trying to do a onepage?? I noticed that you are linking to # links.
If you are, please first edit the page, and select the ONE-PAGE options in the page options.
Also, you are creating the links not correctly. When making a custom link in the menu to use on a one page, you should only set the link as a #, see this: https://prnt.sc/ptul2b
So it should be #pricing, not http://dominan.com/#pricing, otherwise it will always refresh the page and the go to the #ID.

Also, remeber to give the sections an ID, otherwise it will not scroll to it :)

    cheers
  • Hi Bryan,

I'm not trying to do one page. I'm just trying to do anchor links. I need the links to be like this http://dominan.com/#pricing as it is multi page and I'm happy that the page refreshes.

I don't see why creating the links like this would cause the colours and rollover effects not to work?

    Do you have a solution?

    Thanks

    Tom
  • Well, now I understand, but you should have the "one-page" option checked anyway, it will then scroll smoothly when it loads the page.

The links are active because the URL for those 2 links points to the main page.
Please first select the one page options, if this does not help you need to create two menus.
One menu for the home page, with #links only in the custom menu items ( like I explained above) and for the contact page use the current menu you have.

You can set a separate menu for pages in the page options, just edit each page and you will find it under the Muffin Builder.
    thanks
  • Thanks Bryan, It seemed to work but just changing the home page to 'One page'.

    Nice one

    Tom
