No self-referencing hreflang

I'm getting an error on my category pages: No self-referencing hreflang 

When I look in the html, the wrong href is chosen: <link rel="alternate" hreflang="en-US" href="https://feastcaterers.com/diana-trevors-spring-wedding/">

This href should be https://feastcaterers.com/category/spring-weddings/. The link that's being chosen (
"https://feastcaterers.com/diana-trevors-spring-wedding/) is the first link on the category page.

How can I fix this so the link is self-referencing?

I turned off the SEO option in the theme options and it removed the hreflang in the html. This solved my issue, but I do believe the self referencing URL still needs to be fixed for categories.
