Updating to new version always fails

Have been trying to update to new version of theme (21.4.5. i think, from 21.4.4.) and always stalls and gets site stucked in maintenance mode. 

So i have to reupload current theme version manually via FTP and try again. I have deactivated all the plugins before trying to update also, but again no luck.

update, last time it looked to be stalled but it was succesfully updated, now to reactivate all the plugins again!
