Template and visual composer update

Hi,

We have a client with the version of Betheme 17.8.5 and Visual Composer version 5.1.1, has updated to Wordpress 5.3 and now can not edit any page. How should you update to the latest versions of the Betheme template and the Visual Composer? Is making a new purchase of a license through https://themeforest.net/item/betheme-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7758048 sufficient? Or is it necessary to buy a new license for the theme and also for Visual Composer?

Hello Cristian,

You have to update your theme first.

Here is an instruction on how to update the theme:
http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#general
Theme updates will not delete your content unless you have changed the
files directly in which case we suggest using a child theme.
We also recommend creating a backup file.
Please remove the theme completely from your theme folder and install a
fresh copy. Do not overwrite files.
