Not able to update the theme

Hi,

I am not able to update theme, i am getting below error.

An error occurred while updating Betheme: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.

also tried to check the license using http://api.muffingroup.com/licenses/

but not able to retrieve the information it shows : {"error":"No registered licenses for this purchase code and username"}

I bought the theme from theme forest itself.

Please help.

Hello Shabin,

Our "Api" tool is made only for the deregistering the license keys.

For now, please go to your website, deregister the license key and register it once more.

Then, try to update your theme like 3-4 times.

It will update our database record and it will pass you through updating.

If i deregister the license on the live website will that cause any issues with theme or design?

I dont want to break the live website, please confirm.

No, it will not affect.

All of the settings/content is stored in the database, so if you will not touch anything in the database, you will not lose it.
