Need some help fixing menu colour scheme

I decided to use the menu builder in betheme. I realise it is beta..
Even though ive got it close to what i want. I cant resolve the colour mismatch between the normal header and sticky header menu items 
see attached images.

This is the correct colour scheme... active is black, hover over colour is pink and all other menu items are light grey.
This works with the normal menu.

When i scroll down and sticky menu becomes active the colour scheme changes to

 I also have the same problem with the burger menu items
which should also be pink.

Ive configured all of the colours correctly in the menu builder for default, sticky tablet and mobile styles but they arent taking effect.

What am i doing wrong...
can you help with css labels default  for each state?
