I'm not sure what it is, probably you have set other colors on the browser.

But, to remove that, please go to the Media > Library and remove the title from "title" field.

If it won't stop displaying, please send me a link to your website.

Yes, I know that removing the title (name image) the writing disappears but since there are many images, is there not another solution instead of removing all titles from the images?

Hi, I have the same problem and tried to remove the title but when I click on save the same name appears again in the title field. How can I fix it?

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check, if the title field is still getting populated after removing and saving.

I just tried it again with cleared cashed and deactivated plugins but it still comes back after saving...

1) Go to the Wordpress > Tools > Site Health http://prntscr.com/nlyb22
2) Click at the “Info” on the top of the page and open the “Server” tab http://prntscr.com/nlybm2
3) Take a screenshot of the content inside that ‘Server’ tab http://prntscr.com/nlybyr
Please make sure you are using Wordpress 5.2 or later, previous versions did not have this option built in.

You can see it when you click on a post and hover over the first big picture.

Go to your wordpress media library, find this image and change its title attribute value.

Then the text will show something different.

What do you mean by title attribute value? If you mean the title field itself please read my posts before... It is not about changing the text but to hide it. As Pablo suggested before to delete it completely doesnt work for me.

I was able to remove it correctly, without any issue - even after refreshing it works fine.

Ok now I could do it as well. The problem was that I used a different view (https://prnt.sc/s3853l). When using the left option the detail view for each picture is different and it isnt possible to delete the title. After your comment I switched to the right view and could delete it as it was possible for you too.
