Option - Show image Alt text as caption for lightbox imageShow

on one of my clientsides ([Links visible only for registered users]) there are some sliders, and when someone clicks on the first image of the first slider, a lightbox with the lager image is displayed -  but with no caption. In the settings under Addons & plugins i've activated "Show image Alt text as caption ...." and the attribute "Alternative Text" for this image in the media is also filled out. Can you please help me. THX

Your images does not have any alt tags

[Links visible only for registered users]

Please provide them once more and check in the source code, if it applied.

So, I investigated it and unfortunately it will be not possible to achieve.

That option from "Addons & Plugins" is inheriting the alt title from a tag (which is taken from image).

Slider is made in very different way and there is just no option to achieve that.

It would require massive change of the theme code to create it.

ok :-(  So there is the option "Disable" under Settings -> Addons & plugins -> Lightbox, with the hint "Disable Magnific Popup if you prefer to use other plugin". Is this also ment only for standard images and not for the slider images ? Thanks

Yes, all of the popups features will be disabled - if you click on the element which were using popup, it will redirect you to the image.

In case my client insist on the caption in the lightbox which was called from the slider, the only way to achive this would be to take an other slider plugin ? Thanks
