Hello, I am using the event 4 theme in building a website. I have tried everything.

The contact menu does not work. I must have made a mistake during development.

Because anything I put at the bottom of the page doesn't work.

Can you help me?

I think, that your browser was holding old cache and after few minutes it refreshed.
