Portfolio Block - Combine Masonry and Grid

Hello,

i want to achieve an Portofolio Grid layout with an Image and Caption, but also on mouseover some text should be shown.

is this somehow possible? if yes how? Or are there other building blocks available for doing this?

Hello Marco,

Sadly, this will not be possible - BeTheme does not have possibilities for mixing two elements which are independent.

It will require a lot of theme files changes to achieve that, but unfortunately, we do not support this kind of modifications.

I understand, but is there maybe another feature to have an Picture-Block and an Mouseover text over it?

Im thinking working with an "Hover Box" (So "text layer" will be just an replaced image of the normal preview image)

Edit: Short side-question: How to hide the subtitle box completly on an page?

1) The way you want to do that is good, some of the customers is using it lioke that.

But, if you want to display the same image with text attached on it, you can use the "Zoom Box"

1) No, it's not possible.

HTML tags are disabled there by the default.

2) It's a subheader.

You can hide it completely in the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Subheader

Sure, just please edit that page and scroll down to the "Page Options", there you will find the "Hide Subheader"
