Copy header.php

When I copy header.php to my child theme I get "There has been a critical error on your website". Seems none of the parent theme functions are included like: mfn_user_os, mfn_tag_schema, mfn_opts_show... etc.

Are we not allowed to copy files into the child theme?

Hello,

please make sure your parent theme is up to date. After you update it, please copy the new file to your child theme.

It is important to also update the child theme, if you are using a very old version. Do you have the child theme configured or did you just start?
