  • Hello,
Loading time of the website depends on a lot of elements, but surely one of the most important in hosting speed and location of the server.
As you can see on our splash page, our pages loads about 1 second which is really impressive time because it's a wordpress template, which includes a lot of functionalities.

Also, you can check if your images are optimised and decrease the number of activated plugins.
    Thanks
  • Yes of course, there are several points which important. But on the same server we have another WP Domain with an other theme. Thats have not so high latence time.....
Do you use on the Splash side any cache plugin for encrease the speed?
  • We cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support.

We suggest to take a look at the images if they are compressed or
try the static-css method to prevent query to the database every time
you get into the page (but your website have to be ready, because if you
will use the 'static-css', then your changes on theme options will not
work, you will have to create another static-css file and replace the
    old one)

    thanks
  • Brodbdie, one thing to consider is how many resources have you assigned?
(Memory, Timeout Limits, Upload Limits, php-fpm)

Is the server a shared-host? You mention one site on the same server, are you saying within the same account or actually on the same server? What are the server specifications? Is the server SSD based?

Also make sure to verify your file sizes, you can't compare websites like oranges to oranges due to design and layout differences.

A good thing to do here is to use gtmetrix, and see which component is holding your site up from rendering. Here you have the ability to see the components that are slot to load. While at that you can also use FF and Chrome's Console to evaluate load speeds.

Hope that helps if you can post your gtmetrix score for the site here I may be able to give you an idea what is holding you up.
  • We can only suggest using W3 Total Cache plugin but all of the site settings and loading times are dependent from the user. Our pre-built websites have a good score but we cannot be responsible on how many plugins you install or the size of the images. Also the hosting enviroment you are using.
    thanks
