Migrate to another domain breaks the appearance of website

We are moving to another domain name.

In order to update all the links of the website with the new domain name, I downloaded the dump of database and I replaced "mydomain.com" with "mynewdomain.com".

However, this messed a little the appearance of the site (the logo disappeared and betheme's logo appeared, the appearance of the menu and the footer changed and many other things)..

Why is this happening?

Hello,

this is becuse you cannot just change stuff in the database, it will lead to those kinds of problems

We use this plugin to move the whole theme with the database:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

And then, we use this plugin to change up the links in the Muffin Builder and theme options:

http://muffingroup.com/plugins/mfn-migrate-cb.zip
