Header and text

Hello,

I am having some issues with the header background image and general text position.

I have to replicate a website for a client into a betheme website. See images:

1) I added a background image but how do I show the entire picture? Rev slider cuts a portion off so I prefer to use the Betheme header settings:

2) How do I get the text to sit nicely in the middle of the website? In the past I did this with placeholders but it creates big gaps in the mobile version.

Hello Andi,

1) In this case you should insert your image in the "Subheader" and attach the proper "padding" value and set the "background-size" to "cover"

Ah okay it works but I still have a black banner above the picture?

But now it shows on every page? I just want it on the home page.

Ah I figured it out by switching it to Minimalist. So now I only need to know how to centralize the text.

Please go to the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Header and turn on the "Minimalist" option.

About the text, you can do it using the 1/1 column item with "text-align" set to "center"
