Security problem

I installed BeTheme last week, activated wp maintenance mode. When I created a second administrator, I had to disable this plugin for a short time. I used a different workstation. Since then I can log in to the wordpress page, but I can't edit my pages if this plugin is activated. Also, I moved a page with foreign language text to the trash in the backend and I'm not sure if I should delete it. I fear a security problem and would like you to tell me how to proceed.

I have now deactivated the plugin. If I now edit the content of my page in the backend and then want to update it, the following message appears: Update failed. Error message: Unfortunately you are not allowed to edit this post.

Which plugin did you use? If it's not supported one, our help will be limited because we are not sure how it works.

But, you can try to reinstall wordpress, see this topic:
