Is there a limit to how many sections can be in a template?

I can't seem to import another template into my homepage http://simonskloof.virtualwebassist.co.za/ - turning the site into a one-pager instead of separate pages. Thanks for your help

Please provide us with your hosting environment settings, to do that please follow these steps:
1) Go to the Wordpress > Tools > Site Health http://prntscr.com/nlyb22
2) Click at the “Info” on the top of the page and open the “Server” tab http://prntscr.com/nlybm2
3) Take a screenshot of the content inside that ‘Server’ tab http://prntscr.com/nlybyr
Please make sure you are using Wordpress 5.2 or later, previous versions did not have this option built in.

Please use snag.gy or pasteboard.co to host the screenshot and send us the link to it.

Thanks for your quick reply. Screenshot attached. 

It worked for a while - I added plenty of templates today.. and then it just stopped and wouldnt import, but no error message appears.

Just tried again - basically every time I add a section, even now I added one manually in the middle of the page, it drops off a section at the bottom.. hence my question.. is there a limit to how many sections a page can have .. at the same time clicking the 'Insert' or 'Template' button shows "javascript void(0)"

I can give you wordpress access if that helps.

Your issue is related to the "max_input_vars" value, please contact your hosting provider and ask him about increasing that value to min. 5000

I could import a template (only one though, trying to add a 2nd one did not work), it update in the dashboard - but when viewing the page it does not display the additions. 

I then existed the page (in the dashboard) and went back into it - the added template is no longer there - even though the page appeared to have been updating. 

Please can you have a look and assist. It's driving me crazy. Thank you

But, on that screenshot, you are still having the max_input_vars set to 1000

Remember, that only hosting provider is able to do that, you will not be able to change it in the php.ini file.
