The Events Calendar

When I enable 'The Events Calendar' plugin and add an event the blog page changes to upcoming events and pushes the sidebar to the bottom left below the content.

This only occurs is I check the setting in The Events Calendar to include events in main blog loop obviously, but this is a feature I would like..

Any ideas?

It's the standard blog side bar... I have the client looking at it over the weekend, so I'll re-enable it on Monday and send you a link if that's ok...
