Hello,

Your sidebar name is not correct, please see what it's written below the sidebars creator:

https://prnt.sc/rv8e1n

Also, your sidebar must be populated with content in Appearance > Widgets to display.

How can I use the portfolio categories in the sidebar?

Sadly, we do not have any widget for displaying the category for portfolio.

You can only display the sidebar for a blog categories.
