Adding a page - linking back -

Hi there I added teh Blog and Privacy page to my website karynrowe.com and when a user clicks on it - the content is there but teh headers are not working? page headers?

Have I linked the pages correctly or is it because its a one-page pre-built website

No I mean the headers like home, expertise, breathing (main menu) isnt a live link? how do I get rid of it on that page

Sorry but we do not understand. You have a one-page that is fully functional. The menu links in the header all work fine - they have an active state and link to the correct section.

Please make it more clear to us what are you trying to achieve.

The headers do not link back to the pages they are suppose to link back to?

They are not live if you click on the main header in the 2 pages I created (blog and Privacy) the main menu on top of those 2 pages do not link back

Yes, it does not link back to those pages because the option you are using is "one-page" so it is quite normal that it behaves this way.

You can set other menus in those two pages, so they link back to the previous page and scroll to ID.

Create a new menu, save it and go to "blog & privacy", there in the page options ( edit the page) you can find a field to add a custom menu.

But there could be an issue with the single posts, they do not have an option to have a custom menu.

Privacy just needs to be on one page and link back to home..

The blog page - I am not sure if it opens into one page or blog posts?

Just edit these pages which should have other menu, and assign the new one.

Can you check, if the menu is still "shrinked" when you have smaller amount of menu items inside?

Also, please send me a link to that page.

About the blog, I'm not sure what you mean - if you want to set the blog page, just please go to the Settings > Reading and set a page where you want to display the blog.

The menus is still not linking back? I am not really sure what to put in a custom menu? or how to make those menu bars disappear - I just want the blog to go back to home and the privacy page as well?

I am fairly new to WP so I am trying to figure this out as I go ....

That menu is created not correct, it will not redirect you to the homepage, because it have the anchor link inside and while clicking, it's searching for the "#Header_wrapper" section and it want to scroll for it.

To redirect to homepage, you have to create a link for a root directory "/" or just use a menu item "Home"

About the header, that's because your minimalist option for header is turned off, please go to the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Header and change that option to "ON"
